SKONSMO AB builds on more than 30 years of experience, innovation and expertise in cable compensation solutions.
With roots in the pioneering work and product development of KKM Power AB, we have been involved in developing solutions that have become established standards in the Nordic power grid.
With more than 8,000 units delivered across Sweden and Finland, we have developed a deep understanding of medium-voltage cable networks and the technical requirements needed to deliver reliable and efficient compensation solutions. Our experience enables us to provide solutions tailored to the specific conditions and requirements of each network.
Our sales and engineering office is located in Sundsvall, Sweden, while our products are manufactured at NordTrafo AB in Nyland, Sweden. As the only Swedish manufacturer of cable compensation products, we combine local manufacturing with extensive technical expertise and dedicated service throughout the product lifecycle.
In addition to our own product portfolio, SKONSMO AB acts as a project partner for customer-specific projects, coordinating suppliers, manufacturers and financing partners within electrical infrastructure, energy and construction. This allows us to take responsibility for complete project solutions — from technical concept and sourcing to delivery and support.
